"Adria buds from a meet. Through a choppy balance its two half go on to join between  Adriatic sea, carrying on two different cultures, better two different worlds, that have been viewing for years and now try to have a dialogue. There are a lot of witness of the two cultures. If accordion and cello are the tone colour standard bearer of Salento music tradition on a side and from Albania on the other, voice seems to become the meeting point able to agree languages so deeply different but so close, for consonance and breaths. The modern setting made up by incoherence and even unavoidable and troublesome noises, let some songs be nervous sometimes chaotic. They are legitimate sons of mismatches born into town, the place in which shore is unavoidable."

The band is made up by musicians boasting of collaboration with artists and important Italian bands. Moreover they propose a genuine project of reprocessing and writing, shaping their music with the immediate traditional repertory of both south side of the Adriatic sea in a modern key. Maria’s enchanting voice stresses the intense simplicity of texts and strengthens the elegant and wiggly harmonic textures, weaving in a impulse. Traditional and modern instruments chase and sometimes avoid, searching for meeting points and reasons for diversities as always music and histories on the Adriatic sea. Adria’s “Non sento” is in the compilation Soundsation by the University La Sapienza in Rome in collaboration with Sony Bmg and Demo Radio Rai. Release date for record is scheduled for the end of the year.
